Community Education

Do you have a desire to learn about theological and ministerial topics at a graduate level but don't want to pursue a graduate degree?

 

Our Community Education program may be for you!

This program allows students to take graduate courses in the School of Ministry as continuing education. By auditing the courses, Community Education students can read the course materials and participate in the discussions and lectures without completing the written assignments or other course deliverables. Catechists and teachers can participate in this program to complete necessary continuing education credit (at the discretion of the diocese, parish, or school) or lay ministers can further there knowledge in a particular topic of interest to them.

Admission Process

To be considered for admission as a Community Education Student (i.e., auditing courses but non-credit and non-degree seeking), please submit:

• • A completed Community Education Registration Form  with payment
    • Download and mail to the School of Ministry at:

Please note, no credit is awarded for these courses. Once a course is completed as an audit, the course must be retaken to receive credit. Student will not be allowed to enter a course as a Community Education Student without signed permission of the instructor.
