SPUD events and activities are planned by students for students! SPUD is lead by the Director in Charge of Programming and is made up of a SPUD Board of Committee Chairs as well as VIPs (Volunteers in Programming).
SPUD is always looking for excited, energetic students who want to make a difference at UD and help us create a dynamic, creative environment that meets the needs of our students. We are looking for people who love to plan the party, figure out how to make it work, and enjoy the smiles on the faces of the hundreds of people that come in contact with your event.
The SPUD Board is chosen at the end of the spring semester for the following year. SPUD Board positions are stipend paid. Look for more information about the 2013-2014 SPUD Board applications in the SALC!

The SPUD Board can't do it all on their own-- they rely heavily on the Volunteers in Programming, or VIPs, who assist with getting events going through brainstorming in committees, getting the word out through Publicity production and Street Team, hospitality for speakers and bands, and set up/clean up with sound and other equipment or decorations.
VIPs are able to earn SPUD Points for every hour you work. SPUD Points can get you Capp Bar Cards, VIP T-shirts, SPUD event T-shirts and giveaways, gift cards, and even free admission to some of SPUD's biggest events like Groundhog and Spring Formal!
