UD welcomed J. William Berry as its provost in June 2008. In December 2008, he also became an executive vice president of the university. Prior to UD, he was provost at Butler University and has served on the faculty at Princeton, Mercer, and elsewhere.

Brian Murray’s areas of expertise include compensation, careers, retirement, staffing, and the evaluation of human resource programs and employee attitudes. He teaches courses in the areas of career development, human resource management and quantitative analysis.

John Plotts has been the university’s vice president for enrollment since December 2008. Dr. Plotts received his Ed.D. from the University of North Texas, his master's degree from Dallas Theological Seminary, and bachelor's degree from Baptist Bible College of Pennsylvania.

Charles W. Eaker is a theoretical chemist whose area of speciality is reaction dynamics. He makes extensive use of computers and computer graphics in his research.
Interim Dean, School of Ministry
Mark Goodwin, who has taught in the university's Department of Theology for nearly two decades, has served as department chair since 2010. His interests in scripture are wide-ranging, but are focused on the New Testament and its first century Jewish environment.
