Amount: $2,500 Per Year
Eligibility: The top high school senior scorers on the PSAT who mark Section 14 on
the PSAT/NMSQT answer sheet, thereby identifying himself or herself as Black American.
The National Achievement Scholarship, in the amount of $2,500 per year, is offered
to the top high school senior scorers on the PSAT who mark Section 14 on the PSAT/NMSQT
answer sheet, thereby identifying himself or herself as Black American. This award
can be used in addition to an Academic Achievement Scholarship, but when combined
cannot exceed the cost of tuition. The National Achievement Scholarship can be used
for eight consecutive semesters. Students must submit an application for admission
by March 1st to be eligible for the award. Additionally, a copy of the letter or certificate
officially declaring National Achievement status must be provided to the Office of
Financial Aid.
