Chemistry Scholarship

Amount: $1000 - $5000 Per Year
Eligibility: High School Seniors and Transfer Students

Applications accepted: September 1st
Deadline to apply: December 1st

To Apply for the Chemistry Department Scholarship, you must:

Apply for admission to University of Dallas.

Submit a letter of recommendation from your high school or college chemistry teacher.

Schedule an on-campus interview with the Chemistry Department by registering for Odyssey Days or a personalized visit, here.

Complete the Departmental Scholarship Application and submit two weeks prior to your campus visit and interview.  Email to UGAdmiss@udallas.edu or mail to the following address:

Renewability Criteria:

The Chemistry Department Scholarship is renewable annually for four consecutive school years, dependent upon the student's academic performance and the criteria stated below:

1. 1. Declare and pursue, in a timely manner, a major in Chemistry or Biochemistry.
   2. Maintain full-time academic status each semester by earning at least twelve UD credit hours per fall and spring semester and earning at least twenty-seven UD credit hours per annual review period.
   3. Demonstrate a cumulative UD GPA (grade point average of at least 3.000 on the annual review date.
   4. Demonstrate a cumulative UD GPA of 3.000 in all chemistry coursework.
