Constantin College

Explore the Great Works of Western Civilization. Begin your Odyssey.

UD’s Core curriculum is a transformative course of study experienced by all undergraduates that focuses on the great works of Western civilization in order to help you develop the intellectual and critical thinking skills that will prepare you for success both in school and in life beyond school.

Walk in the Footsteps of Greatness. Literally.

It’s one thing to read about the history of the Roman Empire or analyze the tragedies of Sophocles, but it’s quite another thing to stand where Julius Caesar spoke to his legions or recite “Oedipus Rex” in the same theater where it was performed over 2,000 years ago. The classroom will come to life during your Rome semester.

Teaching and Learning in the Catholic Intellectual Tradition.

Because UD is dedicated to preserving the ideals of the Catholic intellectual tradition, we believe that education should be about the pursuit of wisdom, truth and virtue. Our approach to education will help you engage in a constructive dialogue with the modern world as a person of faith.

Explore the academic programs offered by the Constantin College of Liberal Arts and discover how our approach to a liberal education engages both the mind and spirit, no matter what discipline you pursue.
