Student Programming @ UD

 SPUD [spudde, spudd. Of obscure origin]- organization

SPUD, or Student Programming @ UD, hosts the majority of student-led events on and off campus. These events include TGIT, Groundhog, Mallapalooza, Battle of the Bands, Spring Formal, Music on the Mall, Quiz Bowl, and Oktoberfest!

SPUD is one branch of Student Government and helps fulfill the goal of promoting the general welfare of the University and the Student Body by sponsoring programs and services which enhance campus life.

The SPUD Team

SPUD is lead by the Director in Charge of Programming and is made up of a SPUD Board of Committee Chairs as well as VIPs (Volunteers in Programming)!

SPUD Events

SPUD hosts a variety of events throughout the academic year. Weekly TGITs, every Thursday in the Rathskeller, are a favorite among UD students, especially with a lively theme or band! SPUD also hosts monthly Capp Houses featuring talented students as well as the occasional Quiz Bowl where teams of friends can unwind with a friendly game of trivia.
