The Catholic University for Independent Thinkers
Orientation assists parents of new students to understand the University environment
and services, and enhances parental awareness of issues facing college students.
The University of Dallas shares your commitment to your student's personal development
and academic success. We believe that appropriate parent and family involvement is
an integral part of that success through college years. UD's Parent Orientation provides
you with valuable resources to aid you in helping your student. You will learn about
academic expectations, campus life and become acquainted with members of the UD faculty
and staff.
We encourage you to participate in the day long program.
Whether this is your first child attending college or your last to leave the nest,
the program will be worthwhile for you. We look forward to you joining us on Saturday,
August 31, 2013. **Please note that move-in begins on Friday, August 30, 2013**
For a sample schedule of events for parents and families, please refer to the 2012 Parent Orientation Schedule.
