Marketing and Communications
The Marketing and Communications Department encompasses marketing, public affairs, media relations, internal communications, creative services, University events and Web site support for the University of Dallas.
The University is developing an integrated approach to its marketing and communications initiatives to more effectively promote its diverse academic and character-building assets.
Marketing focuses on promoting the University of Dallas brand and leadership reputation in an integrated manner among key stakeholders, including current and potential students, alumni, faculty, staff, current and potential donors, the media, civic and governmental leaders, the academic community and the general public.
Public affairs and media relations efforts focus on presenting a positive view of the University, its academic mission, its faculty, student achievements and resources to its external audiences. The department interacts with local, state, national and international media to achieve these goals.
Internal communications initiatives are focused on keeping the University's students, faculty and staff updated on the latest news, events, programs and accomplishments.
Creative services provides innovative graphic design solutions to University departments by creating brochures, posters, booklets and other collateral materials used to market the University.
University events initiates, plans and implements University-level special events and provides support and resources for event planning.
Web site support is charged with keeping the Web site content updated for all aspects of the University operations and its undergraduate and graduate colleges.
