Welcome to the Braniff Graduate School of Liberal Arts
"I have long been a fan of the University of Dallas. Its seriousness of purpose,
excellence of scholarship and commitment to teaching are exemplary and, I'm sad
to say, increasingly rare." --Bruce Cole, former Chairman of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
From the Bible and Aristotle to Faulkner and Heidegger, graduate programs at the
University of Dallas offer a rigorous study of the greatest texts of the western
canon. In fact, the University has the only Ph.D. degree program in the U.S.
utilizing a core curriculum in the great books.
In the reference guide, Choosing the Right College, the University of Dallas was
hailed "one of the top 100 schools in the country." The National Review
ranks the University of Dallas as one of the top 50 liberal arts schools in the
nation.
