The University of Dallas Graduate School of Management, in cooperation with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is pleased to offer a professional development program for human resource professionals.

SHRM educational programs are developed according to the highest quality standards. HR professionals review each product to ensure accurate, real-life applications. In addition, SHRM programs are "living documents" -improvements and revisions are included in each reprint to incorporate the latest change in HR practices and legislation.

Recertification: Human Resource Competency Development Program

A task force comprised of University of Dallas Professors and SHRM Learning Instructors has created a series of seminars designed to build the skills, knowledge, and expertise of HR professionals within each competencies. HR professionals can develop their competencies in any or all of the focuses by completing courses in the HR Competency Development Program offered by the University of Dallas Center for Professional Development.

The program offers flexibility in that participants can attend an entire domain series or attend a few courses from each domain. Each course is a stand-alone module and can be taken in any order that is appropriate for an individual's development priorities or that best fits their schedule.

SHRM Learning System

The course is in cooperation with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) as study material for the Professional in Human Resource (PHR®) and Senior Professional in Human Resource (SPHR®) certification examinations administered by the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI).

Essentials of Human Resource Management

The SHRM Essentials of Human Resource Management Certificate Program provides an overview of the human resource function and covers real-life HR issues and today's most vital and timely topics, including employment law, selecting qualified employees, compensation, orientation and training, and the employee performance process.
