BUAD 8330-9GZ International Management Study Tour (3-Credit Hours)

You are invited to join Dr. Sri Beldona for an opportunity to look beyond labor costs in China’s role as "the" location for overseas
expansion and gain an Understanding of how the Chinese government has been able
to attract FDI. The tour will include six to seven business visits (tenatively
to include Airbus A320 assembly plant, Kraft Foods, Intel and Ogilvy). You'll
take breathtaking cultural excurisons to The Forbidden City, The Great Wall,
Olympic Stadium's Bird's Nets, Water Cube and other sites. Four-star hotel accommodations
at the foot of The Forbidden City and a super bullet train trip to Tianjin.
Course Requirements:
* Mandatory pre-trip orientation session: January 31, 2010 (tentative date)
* Pre-trip readings, Internet-based assignments and quiz; Post-trip assignment and
group project
Pay $2,950 (double occupancy) for travel plus regular GSM tuition if Registered by
January 22, 2010
Late Registration Fee of $300 for travel plus regular GSM tuition AFTER January 22,
2010
Registration Deadline: January 29, 2010
100% refund (travel, tuition and fees) through December 14, 2009; $325 non-refundable
travel deposit after December 14, 2009. No refund for travel, tuition or fees after February 1, 2010.

on a first-come, first-served basis. The travel package includes airfare, double-occupancy
rooms, ground transportation and some meals. Single rooms are available for an
additional charge of $500. Participants must travel with the group from Dallas,
and are not permitted to negotiate their own travel or lodging, nor use frequent
flyer miles for this trip.
