The Braniff Graduate Student Association (BGSA), along with the Politics and Philosophy Departments and the Dean of the Braniff Graduate School, are honored to welcome James Carey to give the BGSA second annual lecture.

James Carey occupies the position of Distinguished Visiting Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the United States Air Force Academy. He is a tenured member of the faculty of St. John's College, Santa Fe, where he served two terms as Dean of the College, and one year as Acting President. Dr. Carey has published mainly in the areas of ancient and medieval philosophy. He has recently finished a book on Thomas Aquinas's natural law teaching, and he is currently writing a book on the philosophical critique of the concept of revelation.
