Dr. Michael Cosgrove

Michael Cosgrove is professor at the College of Business, University of Dallas where he teaches economics. His research involves monetary and tax policies and their relationship to inflation and economic growth. His Ph.D. is from Ohio State University.

Mike has authored or co-authored over 20 refereed publications. In 1996 he wrote: "The Cost of Winning: Global Development Policies and Broken Social Contracts," (Transaction Publishers, 1996.)

He has written op-ed articles for the Investor's Business Daily and The Wall Street Journal. He is quoted in various outlets such as The Wall Street Journal, The Christian Science Monitor and Barron's, among others.

Since 1979 Mike has written The Econoclast, an economics letter on the economy and capital markets. Dr. Cosgrove is a participant in The Wall Street Journal's survey of over 50 forecasters and is also a participant in Blue Chip Economic Indicators.

Mr. Cosgrove's background includes business experience at Gulf Oil, where he was Director of Strategy Development.
