Dr. Patricia Eason, CPA

Dr. Patricia Eason received her Ph.D. in Accounting with a Tax Specialization from Texas Tech University in 1994. Before joining the College of Business Faculty in 2010, Dr. Eason served in several roles at the University of Texas at El Paso; throughout the time of her tenure at University of Texas at El Paso, Dr. Eason served as Director of the International Business Ph.D. Program, Associate Dean for Faculty Development, Associate Professor of Accounting, and Chair of the Accounting Department. In addition to her academic career, Dr. Eason is a practicing Certified Public Accountant.

Dr. Eason currently teaches Accounting Research Methods, Corporate Tax, Introduction to Tax Planning, and Tax Planning. She has also taught Corporate Taxation, Individual Taxation, Prinicples of Accounting I & II, Introduction to Auditing, Advanced Corporate Taxation, Tax Research & Communication, Partnership Taxation, International Taxation, and Tax Practice Procedures.
