BUSINESS GRADUATE PROGRAMS
EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONAL MBA - SPRING 2013 ONLY

You are ready to take your career to the next level...

Experienced Professional MBA

UPDATE: After evaluating the popularity of the format of the Experienced Professional MBA, the College of Business has decided to implement it in our main MBA program. Therefore, this program will be discontinued in name only. Anyone applying for Summer 2013 or later can simply designate MBA on their inquiry or application paperwork.

We're ready to help you get there. Our Experienced Professionals MBA is designed for those with more than six years of professional, managerial or executive experience who are ready to network with peers and build the hard and soft skills necessary to become true leaders in their industry.

We go beyond the basics...

Our program is balanced between developing value-based leadership skills and the marketing, financial and operational perspectives that are required for effective executives in modern, global organizations.

Achieve your goals...

Whether your professional goal is to advance within your organization, assume greater responsibility or transition to a new challenging career, the University of Dallas Experienced Professional MBA is for you.  With the Experienced Professional MBA your professional portfolio will include additional knowledge and a broader perspective that will provide you with the competitive advantage you need to take your career to the next level.

46 years of corporate connections...

Since the founding of the Graduate School of Management in 1966 our focus has been on building corporate connections. Our professors come to the table with years of industry experience. All graduate students, regardless of program, complete the Capstone Experience as their final course. This is not a case-study, this is an actual hands-on, customer-requested consulting project completed from start to finish with a real world client. Past clients have included companies as varied as the Dallas Mavericks, Lehigh Hanson and Big Brothers/Big Sisters.

About the Experienced Professional MBA

Length of Program:  The schedule for the Experienced Professionals MBA is designed to work around typical work and family obligations. This 30 credit hour track can be completed in as few as five terms, or 15-17 months. Because the track is self paced, some students may finish in fewer than five terms and some may take longer.

Professional Development:  Experienced Professional MBA students are expected to engage in extracurricular activities sponsored by the school each term.

Class Format: All Foundation and Core courses as well as many elective courses are offered in both onground or online formats, with many offered in a hybrid (blended) format, giving you the option to combine course formats based on your personal preference or travel/work schedules. Onground courses are offered weeknights and/or weekends giving students the opportunity to schedule classes around their busy lives. With online courses, you never have to step in the classroom so you can complete your program from anywhere in the world.

The Graduate School of Management uses a trimester system, with fall, spring and summer terms. With year-round classes and multiple starting points each term, students can choose from 12 week, 6 week, intensives or intermester classes.

Application Requirements:  To be eligible for admission to the Experienced Professionals MBA, in addition to holding a bachelor’s degree, we consider the following:

  • Undergraduate and graduate (if applicable) academic performance
  • Work experience; a minimum of 6 years in a specific field or industry required
  • Test scores (GMAT and GRE are optional)
  • For students planning to attend on a visa, TOEFL (80+) or IELTS (6.5+) scores
