The Catholic University for Independent Thinkers
The O'Hara Institute is a residential program. The participants are required to live
on-campus. Activities are scheduled for most weekends. Participation in these activities
is encouraged but not required. Usually we travel to the event by bus. Admission charges
are paid by the Institute. On-campus health center, gymnasium, and swimming pool are
open during the summer.
The maximum number of freshman students is twenty. Typically about half the students come from Texas with the other half coming from all over the U.S.
The selection of activities changes from year to year. In the past some of the activities have included a Texas Rangers game, bowling, Six Flags, Shakespeare Theater of Dallas, and the Dallas Zoo.
