Dr. Robert Ansiaux received his doctorate and masters degrees in history from the University of Texas at Arlington and his Juris Doctorate from Southern Methodist University. He teaches courses in the areas of American and World history.

Professor Cupp is completing his Ph.D. at Texas Christian University. His research interests include American history, Atlantic and maritime histories, and Asian history.

Dr. Mark Petersen received his D.Phil. in History from the University of Oxford. His specialty is Latin America, with a focus on the Southern Cone and hemispheric affairs.
Professor Emeritus, History
Dr. John Sommerfeldt is a Professor Emeritus of History. He taught in the history department for more than 40 years, was the academic dean of Constantin College, and served as University President from 1978–1980. His research interests include medieval history.

Dr. Wilhelmsen received her Ph. et Litt. D. from the University of Navarra, Pamplona, Spain. Her research interests include the history of Spain and Mexico.
