To be considered for admission into the School of Ministry, an applicant must provide the following:

1. A completed application form with date and signature (link on the right-hand side of this page). Please make sure you have all the information necessary to complete the form before you exit the browser (You may review the necessary materials on our paper application). If you exit the browser before completing the form, you will be unable to retrieve your data.
2. A non-refundable fee of $50.00. Online applications will receive a discounted application fee of $25.00, payable via credit card at the end of the online application. Paper applications will be charged a $50.00 fee (payable by check only). Applications received without the fee will not be reviewed.
3. Official transcripts sent directly to School of Ministry from each college or university attended by the applicant.
   • A transcript must be received from every institution attended, even if no credit was earned.
   • Transcripts issued to students are not considered official and will not be accepted.
   • Please note that there is an additional one-time fee of $175.00 for the evaluation of international transcripts. This fee may be paid by check or online.
4. Three recommendation forms and letters of recommendation sent directly to School of Ministry.
   • One letter should be provided by each of the following: a pastor, a professor or employer, and a lay leader who has taught or worked with applicant in a ministerial context. Letters from relatives or friends will not be accepted.
   • Forms provided by School of Ministry should be used, available at the link on the right-hand side of this page. Both the recommendation form and a personal letter from each recommender must be received.
5. Three brief essays. Details found at the link on the right-hand side of the page.
   • Theological reflection essay (500 words) on a short reading selection
     
   • Autobiographical essay (250 words)
   • Statement of goals and objectives (250 words)
6. The following additional items are required for International students:
   • Demonstrate English language proficiency, normally by presenting an acceptable score of 80 (IBT) on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or by holding a degree from an accredited English language college or university.
   • See note above regarding international transcripts.
   • Proof of non-immigrant status (if currently residing in U.S.)
   • Copy of the front of Permanent Resident Card (if applicable or, if you have filed the I-485 for a green card, provide a copy of the USCIS Receipt Notice)
   • Confirmation of Financial Resources Form (F1 Visa holders only)
   • Bank statement (F1 Visa holders only)
