The Catholic University for Independent Thinkers
Designed to give students the tools for the practical application of theological knowledge, the Theological Studies program builds upon a core of eight courses:
| RPS 6311. Liturgy and Sacraments | RPS 6320. Theological Reflection |
| RPS 6312. Moral Theology | RPS 6321. Old Testament |
| RPS 6313. Systematic Theology | RPS 6322. New Testament |
|
RPS 6314. Church History* |
RPS 6010. Proseminar |
*The MTS with a concentration in secondary school teaching requires RPS 6336. Catechetics and the Development of Faith rather than RPS 6314. Church History. See Secondary School Teaching Concentration for more information.
Through five additional elective courses, students may explore a subject of interest in greater depth or decide to broaden their knowledge in other areas. Students interested in scripture may obtain a concentration in biblical studies through a prescribed curriculum of scripture electives. Similarly, those interested in teaching can obtain a concentration in secondary school teaching through specific education electives.
