The Satish & Yasmin Gupta College of Business is excited to introduce the following seven new adjunct instructors and professors.
Felix K. Acquah, MBA – Corporate Finance; M.S. – Accounting
Teaching: ACCT 6300-040 – Accounting for Managers
Felix Acquah is VP of Finance and Accounting at Citigroup, Inc. His responsibilities include, but are not limited to, overseeing the accounting treatment and reporting of the bank's Consumer/Commercial Loan portfolios, as well as the Capital Adequacy monitoring of the numerous legal entities within the retail Consumer Bank and Consumer Holdings divisions. Felix Acquah received his bachelor's degree in chemistry from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology, Ghana. He also has earned a master's of science in accounting and an MBA from the University of Dallas.
Donna Cox, Masters of Accountancy, CPA
Teaching: ACCT 5326-4QA – Intermediate Financial Accounting II
Donna Cox received her master's of accountancy from the University of Mississippi, and currently practices public accounting with a regional CPA firm in the Jackson, Miss., area. Her undergraduate degree is from the University of Southern Mississippi. In addition to her part-time work with the CPA firm, she currently works with her own personal clients, both individual and corporate, assisting them with their financial and tax needs. Outside the accounting world she has owned a women's clothing store, both brick and mortar and on-line.
Keith Dickinson, MBA – International Management
Teaching: MARK 6305-040 – Value Based Marketing
Keith Dickinson has been teaching graduate and undergraduate business courses for more than 25 years. He is currently an adjunct lecturer at the Naveen Jindal School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas. Professionally, Dickinson has worked for two of the world's largest advertising/marketing firms, Young & Rubicam and McCann WorldGroup. Overseas assignments included Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Brazil, Mexico, Turkey and Dubai, for clients such as General Motors Europe, Opel, GM Turkiye, GM Autovaz, Vauxhall, Coca-Cola, Sony, Ford Motor Company and Del Monte.
David A. Knepper, M.A. – Management
Teaching: MANA 5F50-040
A finance professional with a background in planning, analysis, project management and human resources, David Knepper has experience in retail banking and asset management. Currently the Business Unit Controller of Finance for the brokerage division of J.P.Morgan Chase, Knepper's responsibilities include budgeting and expense management, compensation policy and strategic initiatives; change agent with proven track record of developing talented and driven future leaders.
Ken Pelan, MBA, CPA
Teaching: ACCT 7337-060 – Controllership
Ken Pelan has been a CFO/Controller for more than 25 years, working in the private equity field for the last seven years. Industries include real estate, health care and manufacturing. Before that Pelan spent six years with Citigroup and was a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young. Areas of involvement include SEC reporting, due diligence and partnership tax preparation.
David A. (Dave) Rogers, M.S. in Management, MBA
Teaching: BUAD 6300-040 – Business Analytics
Dave Rogers graduated from The Florida State University with a B.S. in Computer & Information Science, and from the MIT Sloan School of Management with an M.S. in Management (MBA). He has extensive corporate experience in the retail, wholesale, manufacturing and financial services industries, with leading companies including The Home Depot, JCPenney, NCR, and Fannie Mae, in technology and business analytics roles. Rogers emphasizes hands-on applications of tools in simulations of real-world corporate activities within his classroom, preparing students for management roles and the understanding and presentation of financial and statistical analyses.
Tim Webster, MBA – Strategic Leadership
Teaching: MANA 8310-4IX – Strategic Management
Tim Webster has been in the insurance industry for more than 30 years specializing in corporate strategy, finance & planning, project management and internal controls. Most recently he led the establishment of Project Management Offices and Leadership Strategy Teams in eight of the fourteen regional offices of Allstate Insurance Company. Webster received his bachelor's degree in finance from Southern Methodist University in 1979 and his master's of business administration from UD in 2011.
