Summer Rome Program to Feature Classes on Faith, Culture, Imagination

Rome CampusUD will offer an undergraduate Summer Rome Program again this year from May 27- July 8. An informational meeting for prospective students will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 30 at 7 p.m. in Gorman A.

Two courses will be offered during the six-week term. They are Faith and Culture, taught by Ron Rombs, associate professor of theology, and The Catholic Imagination: Truth and Beauty in Art, Literature and Music, taught by Greg Roper, associate professor and English Department chair. The program includes a class trip to Subiaco, Assisi and Florence, four days of independent travel and several day trips.

UD students who apply and make their first two payments by Feb. 15 are eligible for $500 off the program's $6,000 cost — an almost 10 percent discount. More information is available at udallas.edu/romeprogramsummer.
