The Catholic University for Independent Thinkers
The University of Dallas Board of Trustees has approved a proposal from President
Thomas W. Keefe that will help relieve salary gaps of faculty members who are currently
furthest below market average for their respective fields. The emergency funding request
is aimed at correcting longstanding faculty salary shortfalls.
"This is the beginning of an effort to bring faculty salaries at the University of Dallas on par with other comparable private institutions," said Keefe. "Through this initiative, we hope to attract and retain talented faculty, foster a sense of fairness and support our institutional reputation."
The initiative will ameliorate the salary gaps of the 20 faculty who are the furthest below market comparisons by discipline and rank.
