Jennifer Bowring joins the University of Dallas as one of it’s Development Officers. Jennifer was born in São Paulo, Brazil and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications with a Minor in Radio, Television & Film from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. Prior to coming to the University of Dallas, Jennifer worked for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. During her five years at the Society, she facilitated relationships between volunteers, committee members, area businesses, schools and organizations for the Light the Night Walks and Team In Training Campaigns. Her responsibilities included growing relationships between volunteers and the Society, providing support and planning for four North Texas walks with a primary role as site coordinator, recruitment specialist and fundraising coordinator. As a result of her efforts, she was awarded the highly regarded Dwayne Howell Award for consistent dedication to the Society’s mission and spirit. Jennifer is an active member of St. Monica parish and school, where she has held several leadership roles. She is excited about continuing her fundraising endeavors at the University of Dallas and looks forward to connecting with key alumni and friends to continue to advance the University.
