A native of Sharon, Pennsylvania, Anna Marie Moran received her Bachelor of Science in business administration from Pennsylvania State University and her Master of Business Administration with a concentration in marketing from the University of Dallas, as well as completing a two-year executive management training curriculum at Smith College. Anna Marie is a recognized expert in the telecommunications industry with extensive experience in contract management, customer service, marketing, operations, and strategic and tactical planning.
Prior to coming to work at UD, Anna Marie was director of West Field Operations for NEC of America, where she administered a portfolio of service products for a diverse set of enterprise customers including MGM, Paramount Studios, Warner Brothers, the University of Colorado Hospital, the University of New Mexico, Stephen F. Austin University, DFW Airport and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Anna Marie also held progressively responsible positions within the Verizon Corporation, including general manager of GTE Media Ventures/Americast Cable, GTE Satellite Entertainment, GTE Paging and GTE Public Communications.
Anna Marie has written and lectured on various topics, including business planning, effective business communications, intrapreneuring, leading corporate turnarounds and marketing. She has held adjunct teaching positions at Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business and the Art Institute of Dallas.
Additionally, Anna Marie is an award-winning fiber artist specializing in Asian art quilts. From 2006 to 2010, she was a parent volunteer at The Highlands School in Irving, Texas, where she led an "Introduction to Quilting" seminar for parents and faculty and also instructed students in mural design and painting.
