The Beatrice M. Haggerty Gallery, at the University of Dallas, is pleased to present an exhibition of recent works by the faculty of the University of Dallas Department of Art. Featured artists are Dan Hammett, Kim Cadmus Owens, Juergen Strunck, Phillip Shore, Lyle Novinski, Virginia Marsh and Betsy Belcher. The work in the exhibition reflects the diverse talents of the university’s faculty in sculpture, ceramic art, painting, drawing, printmaking and mixed media.
In addition to the exhibit in the Haggerty Gallery, a symposium will highlight presentations by the Art History faculty, focusing on their recent research projects. Dr. Catherine Caesar, Laura Bruck, Lyle Novinski and Estelle Fontaneau will speak in the Haggar Art History Auditorium, adjacent to the Haggerty Gallery, at 6:30 on the evening of the opening reception.
The Haggerty Gallery located in the Art History Building of the Haggerty Arts Village on the University of Dallas campus, in Irving. The exhibition opens September 6 and will remain on view until September 29, 2013.
