Current spring apartment residents wishing to remain on campus past Mayterm to take summer classes or due to employment as a summer student worker must apply to do so via below link. Summer employment must meet a 30/hours per week minimum. Occupied apartments will continue to be double-occupancy over the summer.
Current spring hall residents wishing to remain on campus as a summer student worker in the campus apartments, may only do so if able to provide proof of working a minimum of 30 hours per week for the duration of the summer until the apartments close the weekend of August 15, 2014. Residents will be on 'standby' in the Mayterm hall until arrangements can be finalized for a summer apartment.
Housed student workers will pay the same housing rate as those enrolled in classes. Below are the basic summer apartment costs PER STUDENT between Jun 8 and Aug 15 (does NOT include electricity):
1 bedroom with 2 residents: $1036.
2 bedroom with 4 residents: $872.
Apartments may not be leased for only one summer session.
If on campus for the Mayterm period but NOT taking a Mayterm class, there will be an additional charge for those 3 weeks. The above figures are for the official 'summer' period that does not begin until after Mayterm.
Summer apartment residents are responsible for establishment and payment of their own electric bill which is separate from any UD housing charges.

Immediately after the end of the Mayterm period, Theresa Hall will then be used for enrolled summer one and summer two students. The hall will be co-ed by floor during this period. Residents for either summer session will pay:
$600 per student/per normal summer session for a double, triple or quad room (sorry, no single rooms will be available) AND $768.58 per student/per summer session for the mandatory 19 meal plan. Only the 19 meal plan is available during the summer.
Students specifically enrolled in the 8-week O'Hara summer program will be billed
$960 per student per double room AND $1229.72 for the mandatory 19 meal plan.
The summer hall closes the evening of Friday, August 15th due to the annual campus-wide utility shutdown the weekend of August 16th. ALL hall residents must vacate by absolutely no later than midnight on August 15th. Sorry, no exceptions.
