From the Office of Admission

It is a busy spring semester for the Office of Admission as seniors make their final decision and juniors start their college search. If you have a student admitted into the Class of 2017 who is considering joining the University of Dallas community this fall, please remind them of the following items:

Housing registration for incoming freshmen has begun, and students are already excited! Those who have submitted their enrollment deposit will receive information from the Office of Student Life about how to complete the process for housing registration and roommate selection. This information will be sent via the student's udallas.edu email, so please encourage them to check that account regularly once they receive their username and password.

Medical history form submission is also underway for students planning to enter UD in the fall. Students who have deposited with the University of Dallas are given access to these forms through the Office of Student Life and can begin submitting them now. These are mandatory for all students enrolling in the fall and may require an updated physical depending on when their last physical took place. Once again, encourage your student to check their udallas.edu email account so that they can stay ahead of any paperwork and deadlines!

Campus is busy preparing for the April 12-13 Meet Us @ the Tower, a weekend visit program for students admitted into the University of Dallas Class of 2017. The weekend schedule is packed with programming for both parents and students, so be sure your student has registered online! There will be overnight on-campus housing available for the students, an informative alumni panel, an academic expo featuring all majors, dinner in downtown Dallas and more.

Remind your senior that May 1st is the National Candidate Reply Date! Students must accept or decline offers of admission by this date. The University of Dallas Office of Admission looks forward to working with your student if they are still undecided so that they can make an informed decision regarding where to attend college.
