Every fall the junior class, in conjunction with the Student Activities and Leadership Center, sponsors Charity Week! Charity Week brings the University together while raising money to donate to national and local charities and organizations. Traditional events include, Charity Week Jail, Family Day, Male Auction, Shave-Off, KAOS, Semi-Formal, Silent Auction, Booths, and Air Band! Every year between $15,000 and $20,000 is raised through the various events and activities. The juniors work around the clock to put on these programs and events during Charity Week but the success of the week really comes from students, faculty, staff, and the UD community involvement and contributions. We would like for you to consider making an in-kind or monetary contribution to help the University of Dallas raise funds for a successful Charity Week. Contributions can include items for the silent auction, prizes for the different competition events, and monetary donations!
If your son or daughter is part of the junior class please encourage them to get involved in the leadership team with Charity Week. This responsibility that our students assume offers them a unique opportunity to learn valuable life skills that they will take with them into their futures.
We hope you will consider supporting the University of Dallas' 2013 Charity Week. We also welcome your thoughts and questions. For more information or to make a donation to Charity Week, please visit udallas.edu/charityweek.
