The Fall 2013 Romers have arrived! The students were greeted at Rome's Fiumicino Airport by Vice Director Ryan Reedy and the Student Life staff. After loading their luggage onto buses, the students set off for Campus. The excitement was evident as the buses arrived and students took in the amazing campus (complete with palm trees, a villa, pool and vineyard) that will be their home for the next four months. The students settled into their dorm rooms and explored campus during their first orientation.
In the evening, students were formally welcomed with an opening Mass and convocation in which words of wisdom were offered Dr. Peter Hatlie, Director of the Rome Campus, and Mr. Ryan Reedy, Vice Director, about the wonderful new opportunities they will encounter during their semester in Rome. The evening concluded with dinner on the lawn and a beautiful Italian sunset.
