Spring 2013 Women's Retreat
UD women studying in Rome this semester were invited to participate in a silent retreat
at the gorgeous Casa Divin Maestro retreat house on nearby Lake Albano. Organized
and run by the Sisters of Mercy, this peaceful campus overlooking the lake gave these
women the opportunity to step away from the pressures of academics and traveling to
focus on their spiritual lives. Part of the weekend was spent in private contemplation,
but students also attended three spiritual lectures and had the opportunity to participate
in Perpetual Adoration and the Liturgy of the Hours.
