On Wednesday, 2 April, University of Dallas students headed to Rome for a long-awaited visit to the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. Several weeks studying Renaissance art in the Art & Architecture course had primed them for the art pilgrimmage that brought them face to face with some of the ancient world's finest sculptures, with frescoes painted by Raphael, and with Michelangelo's stunning Sistine Chapel.
