The Greece Trip
From February 28th-March 8th, the Spring 2008 Romers left their classrooms behind and undertook a 10-day study tour of Greece in the company of Professors Hatlie and Roper. In visits to Olympia, Delphi, Athens, Napflion, Epiduaros, Mycenae, and Corinth, students soaked in ancient and modern Greek history, admired temples and theaters, pondered philosophical problems, and performed scenes written by the greatest Greek tragedians. The Greece trip is just one of the many ways that the Rome semester allows UD students to expand their understand of the classical culture they study in so many of their Core Courses.
