Due to inclement weather, the Inauguration Mass on Friday, October 1st at 5:00 p.m. has been moved to the rain site, the Maher Athletic Center.
There will be reserved seating on the floor for faculty and staff who are not participating in the procession. Guests of faculty and staff will also have reserved seats on the floor. These seats will be in the back of the stage left center section.
In accordance with the diocesean decree of Bishop Burns, the expectation is that masks be worn out of charity for others, but parishes are not to single out or draw attention to those who are not wearing masks at Mass.
The Athletic Center will open at 4:00 p.m.
The university will host the inaugural Mass and installation of Jonathan J. Sanford as the tenth president of the University of Dallas at its Irving campus on Friday, Oct. 1, 2021, at 5 p.m., followed by a special celebration for faculty, staff, volunteer leadership, alumni, parents and honored guests.
