The University of Dallas Master of Leadership will give you the essential tools and strategic understanding to succeed as a leader, decision maker and strategic thinker. The UD Master of Leadership is designed for executives and aspiring leaders who work in various kinds of organizations, including private industry, public enterprise, entrepreneurial start-ups, schools and non-profits. It will also help you become a leader who leads with integrity and innovates with vision.

The UD leadership program combines case-study analysis, organizational studies, behavioral science and the liberal arts into a truly distinctive and powerful education in leadership. The program integrates practical management skills with sophisticated strategic understanding, fostered by self-awareness and grounded in experiential learning.

Drawing together students of diverse backgrounds and professional experiences, the UD Master of Leadership will enable you to accelerate your career and deepen your engagement with the world. You will learn the foundations of leadership and develop the practical skills you will need to lead others to the highest levels of success and accomplishment. If you're working in a school setting, Leadership students have the unique opportunity to earn a Certificate in Classical Learning in concert with their Master of Leadership by completing an additional three classes (9 credit hours).*

A Flexible & Integrated Learning Experience 

You can complete your Master of Leadership through a mix of courses taught online and on campus. The program consists of three parts: (1) Leadership Core, (2) Capstone Experience, (3) Elective Courses. These will prepare you for success in today's challenging workplace. By pursuing the UD Master of Leadership, you will be joining a vibrant learning community, in which you can become an authentic and transformative leader.

*To earn the Classical Learning Certificate, students take their nine Leadership elective credits in the Humanities/ Classical Education Program and then add an additional nine credit hours of Classical Education courses.

Longtime Campus Safety Officer Sworn In to UDPD

Carlos Tijerina came to UD as a Campus Safety officer 23 years ago. He has loved the camaraderie of the CSO, but it has always been his dream to become a police officer. Then, a little over a year ago, UD finally got a police department. On Sept. 10, Tijerina was sworn in by President Thomas Hibbs as an official part of the UDPD team.

Business Alumna Applies UD Core, Helps Rural Farmers in Uganda

Kate Palla, BA '10, gets to her office in Gulu, Uganda, by hailing any motorcycle driver who doesn't already have a passenger. "For 15 cents, they'll take you anywhere you want to go," she explained. "It's the least expensive Uber ever." Palla is the director of finance and operations for Cycle Connect, a high-growth asset-finance company based in Uganda.
