James K. Bishop earned an MBA in Information Assurance from the University of Dallas where he is currently serving as an Adjunct Professor.  He teaches courses in Strategy & IT Governance.  Mr. Bishop is an Information Assurance leader with a proven business enabling approach to security governance and compliance management and a 17 year track record of establishing baseline security controls necessary for achieving standards of due care.  He received his undergraduate degree in History from the University of Texas at Arlington and currently serves as an IT Consultant - Security Solutions SME for Sirius Computer Solutions.  Mr. Bishop's hobbies include playing the bass guitar and enjoying a fine cigar.  Additionally, he is an avid Texas Rangers fan and a good strong P1 Ragonk.
