Currently serves as the Director of Human Resources at Colorado College in Colorado Springs, CO.Responsible for all aspects of the human resource organization at the college, including, but not limited to benefits administration, talent acquisition, professional development services, employee relations, employment compliance, and compensation. Formerly served as the University of Dallas Director of Human Resources from February 2016 to January 2019. While at UD, responsible for all aspects of the support of faculty members through HR policies and programs, working closely with the Provost's Office to develop, implement, and manage policies, procedures, and programs to support faculty administration.  Also administers the University’s equity and affirmative action initiatives through development and implementation of equal employment opportunity processes and the affirmative action plan. Works closely with University administrators to ensure an inclusive, equitable, and non-discriminatory campus environment for faculty, staff, and third parties. Serves as a back-up to the Assistant Vice President of Human Resources in his absence.

Prior to working for UD, Heather worked at Hill College for 11 years in various HR positions, most recently as the Executive Director of Human Resources and Institutional Development. In this role she managed all HR functions including benefits administration, payroll, compliance, hiring, and training and development. During her time in this role she facilitated the implementation of new payroll, applicant tracking, and performance management systems, worked closely with executive staff to implement three major policy manual revisions, and served as the ADA, Title IX, and EEO Coordinators.
