Li Miao has been an adjunct instructor at the University of Dallas since 2017.
Miao was born and raised in China. In 1997, she moved to Connecticut with her husband and in 2003, she earned her MBA from the University of Dallas. Prior to joining the UD faculty, Miao was a computer engineer and taught for seven years at Brookhaven College in Farmers Branch, Texas.
Miao and her husband have three children: the oldest is a freshman at the University of Texas at Arlington, the second is in middle school at Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science and the youngest is in sixth grade.
