Ronald Schmidt is the El Centro College Accounting and Economics Program Director, and current Dallas County Community College District Accounting Curriculum Chair. He teaches all levels of managerial and financial accounting classes, provides leadership to the various programs faculty, as well as development of the accounting program and curriculum at El Centro. He has recently been teaching for the University of Dallas, Satish & Yasmin Gupta College of Business graduate school, and has previously taught for the University of Dallas, Undergraduate Business program, and Brookhaven College.

Ronald Schmidt has over twenty-one years of industry experience, holds both the CMA and CFM certifications and has prior postings to include Controller, CFO, VP Finance, and Operations Manager for the manufacturing and hospitality related sectors. He founded Strategic CFO Solutions in 2004, which provides a full range of accounting and financial management consulting services. Ronald currently also coordinates and leads the DFW IMA/Gleim CMA Professor-Led course, which provides a lecture format CMA prep course to students. He holds an MBA in Corporate Finance, an MS in Accounting and a BBA in Finance.
