Chanae Childress-Coates earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Illinois State
University in 2004 and a Masters of Business Administration degree from Webster University
in 2007. Chanae has over 13 years of progressive experience within the accounting
and finance industries. She is currently the owner of her own company, Childress Coates
Accounting, LLC and serves as an adjunct professor at Lindenwood University and Southwestern
Illinois College. Her areas of research interest include social entrepreneurship,
corporate responsibility, and local government involvement in business.
