Cherie has more than 20 years of library experience in public services, library systems and technology, and library administration. She also serves as the university's director of institutional accreditation, in which role she oversees all federal reporting for accreditation and assessment. She has served as an accreditation and compliance consultant for universities across the southern U.S., and currently serves as a peer reviewer for the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. She has served as an adjunct instructor in the Gupta College of Business and in the Department of Music. Cherie's research interests include higher education management, employee engagement, leader-member exchange theory and job performance.
