Oyetunde started his career in the energy industry in 2003 as a production engineering intern at a multinational exploration and production company in Lagos, Nigeria. He enrolled in graduate school at the University of Oklahoma in 2007 and got a summer job in 2008 as an engineering intern with ONEOK, where he has been working for about 13 years. Some of the responsibilities in his current role involve economic modeling, financial analysis of projects, market intelligence and trend analysis. His expectation of the education from the DBA program is for continued career advancement, which may include a part-time academic or consulting career. His research interests are currently in strategic management.
