As information technology continues to evolve and expand, IT professionals with both technical and management expertise will be highly sought after. Students in this 30-credit-hour program will increase their technology and business aptitude as they prepare to become leaders in information technology. Designed for IT professionals seeking to pursue leadership positions, the program equips students with an intensive education in enterprise architecture, strategy and governance, project management, business analytics, ethics, and sustainability. Graduates are well prepared for careers as project managers, information systems managers, systems software managers and chief information officer. This program may be completed 100% online.
After completing the two required project management courses, students will be prepared to take the Project Management Institute’s Certified Associated Project Manager or the Project Manager Professional certification exams.
With four additional courses, students can earn an MBA with an information & technology management concentration.
This program is a STEM-designated degree program which qualifies graduates for an optional practical training (OPT) extension of 17 months, for a total of 29 months.
The programs in the Satish & Yasmin Gupta College of Business are accredited by AACSB and incorporate practical and experiential learning taught by instructors with decades of real-world relevant business experience.
