AACSB

AACSB Accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools worldwide. Less than 5% of the world's 13,000 business programs have earned AACSB Accreditation. AACSB-accredited schools produce graduates that are highly skilled and more desirable to employers than other non-accredited schools.

Sustainable Business Network

The University of Dallas Sustainable Business Network (SBN) is an open forum for building relationships, exchanging best practices and fostering dialogue around issues of, corporate social responsibility, sustainability and eco-innovation, and corporate governance. Hosted by the AACSB-accredited Satish & Yasmin Gupta College of Business and EarthPeople, the University of Dallas SBN hosts quarterly events and panel discussions on relevant topics led by recognized industry experts.

Pearson Learning Studios (eCollege)

The University of Dallas Satish & Yasmin Gupta College of Business was an early adopter of online course delivery and in 1999 partnered with Pearson eCollege to offer high quality on-ground and online education. Students and faculty receive 24/7/365 global support to ensure program success.

Quality Matters

The Quality Matters (QM) Program is a nationally recognized, faculty-centered, peer review process designed to certify the quality of online courses and online components. Colleges and universities across and beyond the U.S. use the tools in developing, maintaining and reviewing their online courses and in training their faculty.

The Quality Matters Rubric has become the most widely used set of standards for the design of online and blended courses at the college level. Today, more than 700 colleges and universities subscribe to the non-profit Quality Matters Program. The QM Process for continuous improvement is the framework for quality assurance efforts in online learning and provides effective professional development for faculty making the transition into distance education. All of the courses in the Cybersecurity program have been designed and reviewed to meet the QM standards and rubrics.

I&TM students can have free access to VMware software, tools, and training for academic purposes. VMware is the market leader in desktop and server virtualization.

UD Spirit Remains Undampened on Alumni and Family Weekend

Torrential downpours greeted out-of-town guests visiting for Alumni and Family Weekend Oct. 11-14, but these steadfast travelers (as well as those of us who live here) persevered nonetheless. Braving drenched bounce houses, simultaneously struggling with both strollers and umbrellas, more than 600 alumni (families frequently in tow) as well as parents and siblings of current students made it out for various receptions, reunions and other events.

UD Announces Record-Breaking Undergraduate Enrollment

The University of Dallas is proud to announce another year of record-breaking undergraduate enrollment of 1,471 students. Record freshmen classes within five of the last seven years have contributed to this milestone. The Class of 2022, comprised of nearly 380 students, is one of the university's largest entering classes in its more than 60-year history.

University of Dallas Expands Classical Education Program

As many as 100 classical school teachers will receive scholarships this year as the University of Dallas intensifies its efforts within the classical education arena. The university also plans to bring on two new tenure-track faculty members, each devoted primarily to one of two programs in the Braniff Graduate School of Liberal Arts.
