“The University of Dallas must be doing something right,” said Chief Information Officer
of Fidelity Personal Investing, Roger Stiles, MBA ’93, as he looked around the auditorium
filled with students, faculty, staff and alumni at the firm’s Westlake branch. Fellow
UD alumni employed at Fidelity nodded in agreement.
Fidelity’s 337-acre campus boasts walking and jogging trails, a full cafeteria, gym,
fully stocked fishing pond and herd of longhorn steers. UD students toured the campus,
learning from alumni about the 35 business units and imagining their own possible
futures at Fidelity.
Designed to be a tour and networking opportunity, students had the opportunity to
ask alumni for their industry insight and learn about their own experiences with the
company.
As the top employer of UD alumni, Fidelity has maintained a strong relationship with
UD for decades. It is the kind of company the university is proud to be involved with
because they understand the importance of innovative benefits and support for their
employees.
“It’s clear that Fidelity is a great company; several employees have been here 15
years, 25 years, 32 years. That kind of loyalty marks the caliber of a company and
is a testament to the way Fidelity treats employees.” said Director of Corporate Relations
Halley Netsch. “We look forward to continuing to strengthen our relationship and are
proud to have so many alumni at a company as highly-regarded as Fidelity.”
