The University of Dallas announced a partnership between the Satish & Yasmin Gupta
College of Business and one of the world's largest grocery retailers, Kroger. The new partnership aims to further the Gupta College of Business’ mission to prepare
students in a wide variety of management specialties, serving a range of industries.
“Kroger is recognized for building strong local relationships with their customers
through above-and-beyond quality service and retail selections – all at a great value,”
said Gupta College of Business Dean Brett J. L. Landry. “Likewise, this partnership
will bring the university closer to the surrounding community, while granting Kroger
employees access to a world-class business education."
Through this partnership, all Kroger employees (including their dependents) will be
eligible for special tuition benefits when they enroll at the University of Dallas.
Benefits can be applied to undergraduate, graduate and continuing education programs
in the Gupta College of Business’ Center for Executive Education.
“Education is a vital piece of our community,” said Kroger’s Dallas Division Human
Resource Manager Jerry Vincent. “Kroger is excited to partner with the University
of Dallas to provide this educational and career growth opportunity to our employees.”
