Frequently Asked Questions

When do I need to pay by?

You will need to have your course paid for seven days prior to the start of class. You will not receive your books until payment has been received.

What forms of payment are accepted?
1. Cash - In person at the Irving Campus Business Office.
2. Check (personal or corporate) - Mail a check to: University of Dallas, Attn: Jennifer Howard, 1845 E. Northgate Drive, Irving, TX 75062. Make checks payable to the "University of Dallas" and include your name, student identification number, and course name.
3. Credit cards - The University accepts VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. All credit cards are subject to a 2.75% convenience fee added to your bill. For the University of Dallas's full policy on credit cards please click here.
***To avoid the convenience fee you can pay by e-check in Cashnet, mail a check, or pay cash.***

How do I pay?
You will receive a detailed email from the University of Dallas Center for Professional Development explaining how to pay utilizing the Cashnet system.

Why can't I pay when I register?
Students are required to have a student identification number to pay for their classes. This ensures payment goes to the right account. As a new student you must be admitted into the program and assigned and ID number. You will receive your student identification number via e-mail with a detailed explanation on payment and course information. It may take up to three business days to receive this information.

I have a letter of credit. What should I do?
You must submit the form to Jennifer Howard. You can email a PDF copy to jlhoward@udallas.edu OR fax a copy to 972-265-5750 OR mail the original to 1845 E. Northgate Drive, Irving, TX 75062.

I have submitted a letter of credit but I still receive bills from the business office. Why?
You will still receive statements regularly from the business offices. This is an automated system. If you wish to know the status of your letter of credit you should contact the business offices at 972-721-5144.

Is there any sort of financial aid?
No.

What is the refund policy?
Students may cancel an enrollment by notifying the University of Dallas - Center for Professional Development in writing a minimum of 5 business days before the first scheduled class session. No refunds are permitted if the course materials have been opened. No refunds will be given after a course begins or due to absences from part or all of a course.

The Center for Professional Development reserves the right to cancel any class if it does not meet minimum enrollment 5 business days prior to the beginning of class. The center will notify the students by email or phone based on information provided by the student. The student will be refunded 100% of the tuition costs including the $50.00 administrative fee. You may check on a course by calling (972) 721-5299 between the hours of 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (Monday through Friday).

Is this a for credit course?
No.

What are the books for this course?
Pending review by our instructors. Materials for this course will be included in tuition.

UD in the Community: Gospel of Life Dwellings Affirm Lives

Although she can no longer see, Tia does her best, like the mother she still is, to ensure the comfort of those around her from her perch on the edge of her bed. She is one of three elderly residents of St. Adelaide in Grand Prairie, one of Gospel of Life Dwellings' two locations. First conceived by Joe Flaherty, M.D., BA '86, a geriatrician, the idea for these homes was embraced and implemented -- and is continuously sustained -- by numerous UD alumni.

New Crusader Baseball Clubhouse Completed

Positioned off Crusader Drive, behind the batting cages and the centerfield wall of the baseball field, the university's newly constructed baseball clubhouse opened the first week in May, the last week of the season for the UD baseball team. This milestone marked the end of a years-long endeavor supported by the university's Baseball Booster Club to upgrade the team's existing locker room and practice facilities.
