Printmaking

A practical and conceptual introduction to contemporary printmaking as a mode of artistic expression and a guided development of a student's ability toward a personal expression.

Studio facilities enable students to make intaglios, lithographs, relief prints, and screen prints, and to learn photographic printmaking processes and hand paper making.

Basic Requirements

Total of 45 Credits

  • Two semesters of participation in senior seminar (one credit per semester)
  • 12 in art history (6 advanced)
  • 31 in studio courses including 15 credits in one studio area, the core studio requirements, and six credits of electives in other studio experiences outside the area od emphasis.
