ROTC Scholarships

Scholarships

Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis by the host university. Each Scholarship can pay for some college tuition, fees and a specified amount for textbooks and course supplies determined by each contract that the ROTC student signs with their branch of the military.

Army ROTC scholarships consist of:

Highschool:

  • Two, Three, and Four-Year Scholarship options that must be applied for no later than January 10th of your senior year in high school.

College:

  • Two and Three-Year Year Scholarship options that are awarded at the program level.

Both scholarships consist of:

    • Full-tuition scholarships that include all fees: lab, etc.

    • The option for room and board in place of tuition, if you should qualify (UD covers room and board for all scholarship winners)

    • $600 for books per semester

    • A monthly stipend of $420

As a sign of support for the ROTC program and its students, the University of Dallas covers the following costs for scholarship winners. The grant is applied for the duration of the scholarship.

The University of Dallas grant consists of:

  • Room
  • Board

Lastly, the scholarship does, in fact, cover the Rome Program Tuition and the UD Grant does cover room/board while at the Rome Campus.
