Robert 'Bob' Galecke

A man of service and passion for UD.

Bob Galecke has served the University of Dallas in a variety of leadership roles for over 20 years. Most notably, his positions at UD have included interim president (twice), senior vice president and executive vice president. Currently he is the senior adviser to the president. Among his many efforts to advance the university, Bob initiated the annual golf tournament. For this, we are changing the name of the University of Dallas Golf Tournament to the Galecke Open in honor of his service and passion to the university. We ask that you help us in honoring Bob by participating and/or contributing to the inaugural Galecke Open.
